Sirius, the well-known metal dice maker, is getting into the minis business with a line of metal minis based on famous D&D covers. The first in the Sirius Metal Miniatures line is a set of three miniatures based on the D&D 1977 Basic Set, with the dragon, wizard, and fighter all getting unpainted metal minis. Future releases will contain minis based on other classic covers and D&D “moments.”

While WizKids has long produced licensed D&D miniatures, it’s been quite a while since there’s been a licensed line of metal miniatures. It’ll be interesting to see what covers and characters get adapted – will Sirius stick with covers from the original editions of D&D or will we see metal versions of more recent D&D covers via the line?

The three miniature set will be released in February 2026 and will retail for $49.95.
