It’s time to get the Heroes of the Rebellion on the tabletop in Star Wars: Legion. The Force is strong with this one.
The Rebellion is full of iconic characters. But this new Heroes of the Rebellion character pack from Atomic Mass Games has five of them in one place! I got a sent a review copy and I’m glad to see these favorite in plastic. Let’s get in this box!
Don’t let the front fool you, there’s actually 5 different miniatures in this kit. There are two different versions of Luke Skywalker, a Han Solo, a Chewbacca, and a Leia in this one!
Heroes of the Rebellion Unboxed
As you can see from the picture above, all the contents comes just how we’ve come to expect from AMG. Everything is in it’s own separate bag. You’ve got the cards, (for each supported language, tokens, bases, and of course the sprues themselves.
Now, I’m not going to cover all the cards in the pack. Just know you get a full play set for all the cards in the different supported languages. If you’d like a better look at them, you can find them all from AMG right HERE.
As far as the sprues go, you get the four characters pictured on the front cover on one large sprue, and then you get the Commander Luke Skywalker on his own sprue. You also get the five bases you’ll need for these characters.
If you’re wondering about that Commander Luke, it is indeed the same one from the Rebel Alliance Starter Set.
These two sprues are the same. There’s no photoshop trickery here. I guess I’ve got an extra Commander Luke now! I feel like it might be time to attempt a diorama then.
Heroes For A Reason
Overall, this is a great way to fill out your Rebel Alliance options. With these new, hard plastics for the miniatures and their updated rules, it’s a win for Rebel players out there. They are iconic characters and really boost your army overall. There’s bound be to one (or more) characters in this pack you’ll find useful for your games.
