The fourth hero from Warhammer Quest: Darkwater has been revealed. Meet Inara Sion, the Cleansing Blade!
It’s probably a good thing to have someone know as “the Cleansing Blade” around in Warhammer. Especially if you’re going to be battling against the minions of ol’Papa Nurgle. Inara Sion is here to cut through the muck. Plus, she appears to have some potent water magic on hand, too. That could ALSO be handy considering the setting is called “Darkwater” after-all!
“Rare are those mortals who recall the heyday of the Jade Abbey, when the Everspring ran free and pure and the priests of the Jade Circle were famed as warriors and wise souls. Inara Sion is one such being, the last survivor of the Jade Circle who yearns to wash away the stain of corruption that has pervaded her sacred home.
Sion is a water-caster beyond compare, an adherent of the Sigmarite faith and follower of Alarielle who calls upon both deities in her war against foulness. She carries an amphora containing pure liquid taken from the Everspring long ago, which possesses incredible eldritch power. Her sword is not forged of metal; rather, it is a conjuration of living liquid, able to whip and lash her enemies from afar. “
Inara Sion, the Cleansing Blade
Overall, I like the miniature here! It’s an interesting pose with the jar of water uh…”spraying” upwards to form around the sword. Also, I do want to call out that paint job on the sword. That shimmer effect looks great! Kudos to the Warhammer Studio painter that did this one up.
From what little we know about the setting this far, I’m sure each of the heroes will have an important role to play in the cleansing of the Jade Abbey. Considering who Inara Sion calls upon (both Sigmar and Alarielle) for aid, she’s certainly seems like a key figure in this battle against Nurgle.
The Heroes of Darkwater
At this point we’ve gotten all the heroes revealed. (Or at least the ones that have been teased thus far.) We met The Manticore Knight, the Grizzled Explorer, and the Renegade Saint. I’m still curious about some of those other figure we see off to the side. Not to mention all the OTHER obvious antagonists in the potato-cam photo:
There does seem to be quite a few things we’ve yet to see. I’m looking forward to the rest of them on this new Warhammer Quest adventure!
Now it’s just a matter of their enemies…
