Free League Publishing announced Hands of the White Wizard and Hobbit Tales, two new The One Ring RPG books, which are now on preorder.
Hands of the White Wizard is set between 2965 and the beginning of the War of the Ring, where Saruman is still wise but on the brink of turning corrupt. In these six adventures, players can either choose to serve Saruman or spy on him to find out his secrets. The adventures delve into the lore of Isengard as players follow Saruman’s story of going from White Wizard to Sauron’s pawn. The book will also be available as the Trials of Saruman for The Lord of the Rings RPG 5E (see “‘The Lord of the Rings RPG’ for 5E“).
Hobbit Tales contains the material published in first starter set for The One Ring 2E (see “‘The One Ring: Starter Set’“). It was broken out as its own The One Ring supplement book in the same fashion that Shire Adventures was for The Lord of the Rings RPG 5E (see “‘Shire Adventures’“), which also contains the same material (but for 5E).
Each of these book retail for $45.92.
