Goatboy’s Grimdark Armylist – Aeldari Aspect Host Beatdown

Goatboy here and it appears that Aeldari are just too good once again.  Look at what a winning Aspect Warrior Host list can do!

A lot of the top players have flocked over to the Aeldari army – especially as it seems to really push the Aspect part of the range with so many elite warrior options within the armylist.  Today I want to talk about a list that did well at the Coventry 40k event – a 103 play even in England.  This is the second-place list piloted by Vik Vijay who is a player that does very well over in England.  Let’s look at it.

Here is the list to check out. As you can see it uses 5 Phoenix lords and all their students to wreck your face.  It is a complete powerhouse of MSU madness with so many 5-man Aspect Warrior units backed up by some Rangers and a few smattering of vehicles.  It moves fast, hits hard, and just is a bit of a menace right now (which means it is ripe to get hit by some nerf hammer with points/rules/etc).

Aeldari Aspect Host Tactics

This list is extremely fast with at least 6 units of the fast Aspects in the army between Spiders and Hawks.  You have some shooting power with the Dark Reapers and the “solution” unit of Fire Dragons with Fuegan.  There is also another solution unit with Asurmen and his Dire Avengers as well.  This type of list is going to show up for sure with all those competitive players that love it when the Aeldari are good in an edition.
