Atomic Mass Games Ministravaganza 2025 – Marvel: Crisis Protocol Reveals

Atomic Mass Games just unleashed a info bomb for Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Get ready for a banger year in 2026!

This reveal had me cheering in my seat. But before we get into the new stuff, let’s see some of the previews of things we knew were on the way.

Iron Lad, Iron Monger, Kang The Conqueror, & Rescue

These character will all be included in an upcoming Affiliation Pack. Each one adds a little something new to the game. Rescue is the first full-on healer for MCP (even beyong Wang). Iron Monger is a threat 3 character on a 65mm base! And Iron Lad and Kang both have some chronal shenanigans to pull.

Adam Warlock, Moondragon, Quasar (Phyla Vell)

Adam Warlock’s showcase was really impressive. He’s a whopping Threat 7! But he’s worth it as he’s basically the Anti-Thanos. Oh, and comes stock with the gem Bonded Soul Infinity gem.

Valkyire on Elendil* & Warriors Three

So, slight error on the image, it’s not Aragon (the Pegasus) it’s actually Elendil. Anyhow, I did want to mention that Will Shick didn’t rule out possibility of the Warriors Three getting individual releases at a later date, too.

Way More Mutants!

Not only are we finally getting Jubilee, we’re also going to be getting a new affiliation X-Factor affiliation. Both Havok and Multiple Man will have leadership abilities that promise to make the affiliation play very differently.

While the Sentinels aren’t mutants, they are deeply tied to the X-Men and Mutants. But man, oh man, these new Sentinel additions look fantastic. In fact, the Sentinel Affiliation is about to get even nastier…

Sentinel Rebalance Update

The big thing here is the new ability “Acceptable Collateral Damage” which lets these Sentinels basically step on terrain and not really care anymore. Get ready for these big stompy robots to get all stompy!

That’s not all either. There’s a BUNCH of character updates including:

• Casandra Nova
• Dormammu
• Emma Frost

Plus also teased were MANY “small but impactful stamina updates.”

Core Rulebook Adjustments

There were also a lot of Core Rules coming as well as a new rulebook update. There’s updates to how to generate your missions. Here are a few bullet points:

• Now 5 crisis cards brought to a game
• Draw 2 cards, opponent then picks one of them
• Two priority rolls – roll for deployment, roll for first turn
• Throw damage change – now always a flat 3 damage.

There’s also a brand new update with a new Objective Token type:

Not only was this a teaser for the new Source Objectives, we also got a look at the new Prime Sentinels. The Prime Sentinel are a new addition to the Sentinel Affiliation (you can take TWO of them – which is why there are two versions).
