The new edition of the Warmachine Core Book is out now from Steamforged Games. Plus there’s a free “rules only” version to download!
Steamforged Games has done it. Warmachine is relaunched with a new Core Book. And yes, technically, they had already done it with the massive amount of miniatures and STLs they had produced before hand…but a new Core Book makes this feel real again. This could be the ticket to Warmachine making a massive comeback on the tabletop scene!
Warmachine is BACK!
The core book is a 140-page hardback with loads of lore and art to better immerse yourself into the Iron Kingdoms. And if you’re an old school fan/player of Warmachine, this is the next chapter in the game!
Things should look somewhat familiar to returning players but make no mistake that things have changed. There’s loads of new characters and lore in the Iron Kingdoms and the land scape has shifted around. I know I’m seeing entirely new factions since the last time I played Warmachine!
So if you’re brand new or a returning player now is the perfect time to jump in. The Core Book is now available. There’s also a two-player quickstart guide. Perfect for you and a friend to take a crack at the game. Warmachine is back!

There’s actually two ways to get the rules only version. First up is the free PDF Download which you can find right here. The second way to to download the Warmachine App which contains all those rules as well.
It is worth noting that the App does also have list building, model stat tracking, and more. Soooo if you’re interesting in actually playing Warmachine for real, you’ll want to grab the app, too.
