‘Tis the season for sales on the Fallout line of RPGs, it seems. Modiphius has one of its own, with a 33% discount on most titles.
What a world we live in. There are two different sales going on right now where you can find a big discount on titles in the Fallout RPG line. There’s the one on DriveThruRPG, of course. And today we’re taking a look at Modiphius’ Vault 33 Fallout sale. Seems appropriate for the launch of Season 2 of Fallout today – two seasons, two sales. It just makes sense. Let’s take a look.
Modiphius’ Vault 33 Sale – Much Less Likely To Be A Sinister Social Experiment
If you haven’t taken Modiphius’ Fallout RPG for a spin, it runs off of a customized version of the 2d20 engine. There’s much more of a focus on gear in this ruleset, and a big part of that is because you’ll be scavenging a lot. You can even craft and customize your own power armor from things you find in the Wastes, a la Fallout 4.
The Vault 33 Fallout RPG sale lets you take 33% off of a wide variety of titles all month long. This is to celebrate the release of Fallout Season 2, which is out later today! And if you want to explore the world of the Wasteland even further there are several titles with which to do exactly that.
Including the physical version of the Fallout RPG core rulebook, which gives you everything you need to play. You could also pick up the Fallout: Miniatures – Hollywood Heroes pack, and snag miniatures of your favorite characters from the TV show. If you’re just getting into the game, you might want to snag the Fallout RPG Starter Set instead.
And if you’re already heavily into the Fallout RPG, then you might also check out the Fallout Wasteland Warfare line, which is a line of miniatures skirmish combat that takes place in the world of Fallout.
Most of those are on sale as well. You can snag boxes that give you squads of Caesar’s Legion and NCR troops. Or pick up creatures like the Deathclaw Matriarch. Once you’ve assembled your squad you can send them into the wastes to look for things and mostly do battle.
