Wizards of the Coast announced key dates for Lorwyn Eclipsed, the next Magic: The Gathering booster set.
This Magic events season has a variety of dates that retailers should be aware of, particularly for event scheduling (which had already begun as far back as September 26, 2025). The key dates for Lorwyn Eclipsed are as follows:
- Marketing Kit Delivery: January 9, 2026
- Prerelease: January 16–22, 2026
- Commander Box League: January 16–22, 2026
- Release Date: January 23, 2026
- Two-Headed Giant Commander Night: January 23–February 26, 2026
- Commander Party: January 30–February 5, 2026 and February 13–19, 2026
- Store Championship: February 6–22, 2026
- Magic Academy: January 23–February 26, 2026
- Standard Showdown: January 23–February 26, 2026
- FNM: January 23–February 26, 2026
For the Commander events, the promo card to be given out will be Farhaven Elf. The Store Championship event will feature three promos: Goblin Bombardment, Guide of Souls, and Ocelot Pride (for the winner). Standard Showdown will offer a new winner promo, Nowhere to Run, and there will be new Lorwyn Eclipsed promo packs for FNM.
