Games Workshop also teased new battletomes and characters for two of the more magically talented armies in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

The Mortal Realms are getting more than just Ossiarch Bonereapers this year. There’s another pair of Battletomes arriving along with more kits. First up, the Disciples of Tzeentch have not been idle.

Alongside a new Battletome there’s also a new character for them. The Fatemaster is basically a Chaos Lord and Wizard of Tzeentch all in one. He’s no slouch in combat but I think spell-slinging will be his forte!

On top of the new character there’s also brand new faction terrain for the Disciples of Tzeentch. These Argent Shards are going to be arriving on a battlefield near you soon!

Lumineth Realm-lords Previews

Maybe it was the new Ossiarch Bonereapers that cause the Lumineth Realm-lords to call in some reinforcements. Or maybe it was just time for a new character. The Vanari Lord Regent is a good addition to the range as he’s got some new martial skills. One thing that was mentioned is that he’s got an ability to turn your spearmen into an even deadlier unit that can dish out more mortal wounds. And apparently it can happen just by pushing forward!

Aside from the OBR releases, we’re getting two more Battletomes for AoS on the way along with a new faction terrain kit and two characters? It’s a good start for the new year.
