SYSTEM: Old-School Essentials/OSR
PRODUCT TYPE: softcover zines
RETAIL PRICE: $6/$15/$6/$6
DESCRIPTION: Beneath Beatrice Blackwell’s Basement is a trap heavy adventure for a party of PCs levels two to three. Some bodies require a little detective work to locate and remove. They face a gelatinous cube, a kobold knight riding a fire beetle, and more. Tales from the Road collects three adventures together: something sinister at candlewax cabin, well past midnight in the moonlight kitchen, and just another goblin cave. The Buried Convent of the Headless Saint is for a party of first level characters. It features a church, rectory, and tower that were buried in a landslide and must be excavated and explored from the top down. There are many points of interaction and multiple paths to take through the ruin along with a couple of new magic items to uncover. The adventure begins as an exploratory delve and eventually transitions into a siege scenario when a pilgrimage of deep dwarves attempts to hijack a ritual. Underneath the Ruined Watchtower of Some Forgotten Duke is an open-ended adventure that works for first to second level PCs. There’s a halfling mercenary group squatting in the tower aboveground that can provide a mixed source of information and antagonism to the PCs. Beneath the tower is a small but strange old ruin filled with dark elf weirdness, unknowable devices, and zombified bureaucrats protecting a really strange creature on the bottom floor that may end up becoming an ally to the PCs.
