Next week’s pre-orders are full of corsairs, characters, and combat patrols. Plus the new Vyper now with swiveling turret.

Next week’s pre-orders are all about corsairs and characters, with a heaping helping of combat patrols to round everything else out. From new Tau toys to Tyranid Primes, the xenos of the galaxy are out in force. But of particular note is the piratical predilection of many of the new releases, including the Aeldari Corsairs, and Chaos’ own Red Corsairs. All this, next week!

Corsairs And Characters

The Twin Lance of the T’au kick everything off. Sunsear and Scatterflare launch into battle with some of the Earth Caste’s latest and greatest toys (and a couple of well-traveled drones), including shields, shardstorm burst, and ion scattercannon.

Berehk Stornbröw will surely help you your Votann stay Leagues Ahead (puns intended), thanks to his devastating pick-hammer Kromlôk’s Revenge.

The Tyranid shore up their leadership with a new Tyranid Prime miniature, complete with lash whip, rending claw, and a pair of scything talons.

Prince Yriel is the epitome of aeldari corsairdom, since his “eyepatch” is actually a bionic weapon known as the Eye of Wrath, which is a perfect complement to the cursed Spear of Twilight.

Kharseth is a boon to any Corsair fleet. They can pinpoint wherever the Corsairs should raid, all while unleashing the dread of the deep void.

Corsair Skyreavers descend on swift wings with deadly corsair blades, shredder guns, blasters, even fusion guns or flamers as you see fit.

Or for a more “frontline” punch, try the Corsair Voidreavers, who come with either shuriken pistol and power sword or shuriken rifle.

And then there’s the new Vyper, which looks a lot like the old Vyper, because GW won’t give up that classic silhouette – but they will add a new swivelling turret and other mounts. You can also bbuild this kit as a Starfang.

Accompanying and/or opposing the Aeldari Corsairs are the Red Corsairs, led by the new Reave-Captain. With power sword, power maul, and plasma pistol options, he can punch hard where needed.

Red Corsairs Raiders make up the bulk of the Chaos pirate that follow Lord Huron Blackheart. This collection of traitors, rogues, and ruffians will absolutely kill you in the name of Chaos, while robbing you in the name of profit.

Combat Patrols On Patrol

But it’s not just individual minis and small kits. You can also pick up a swath of new Combat Patrol boxes, starting with the Aeldari Corsair Combat Patrol, which comes with 10 Voidreavers, 5 Skyreavers, a Wave Serpent/Falcon, and Kharseth themselves.

In the Red Corsairs Combat Patrol, you’ll find the new Reave-Captain leading a crew of 5 Raiders, a Chaos Rhino, and 10 Fellgor Ravagers ready to rampage across the battlefield.

The Night Lords Combat Patrol box comes with a full Nemesis Claw Kill Team (15 guys), a Chaos Rhino, and Chaos Lord with Jump Pack.

Finally, the Kroot Combat Patrol unleashes everyone’s favorite hungry hungry birds people. with a Kroot Lone-spear leading 3 Krootox Rampagers, a Krootox Rider, and 10 Kroot from a Farstalker Kinband.
