Mantic Games might be making us wait for more on the upcoming Ghost in the Shell RPG, but you can pre-order a collectible miniature today.

Mantic Games revealed last month that it was working on a new Ghost in the Shell tabletop RPG based on the legendary manga by Masamune Shirow. And while we don’t have any new updates on the game or the timing of its release (other than 2026), Mantic has shown off a pre-release of sorts. You can snag a “collectible miniature” of Major Motoko Kusanagi, designed for use with the upcoming RPG. Some assembly (emphasis on some) required.

Mantic Reveals Miniature Of Major Motoko Kusanagi

This miniature was announced (and put up for pre-order) in order to “celebrate the announcement of The Ghost in the Shell Tabletop Roleplaying Game.” I believe it’ll be available at Adepticon, but also you can pre-order it now with shipping expected in April.

As you can see, the miniature is pretty detailed. It’s Kusanagi with her M23 submachine gun and trench coat, presumably ready to lead the Section 9 Trainee Agents through whatever training exercise is likely to go awry and set them on the path of adventure.

And, though we don’t know much – this at least tells us that miniatures are a factor in the Ghost in the Shell tabletop RPG. At least a little bit.

A cyborg agent with a mysterious past, the Major is Section 9’s most capable agent. She is equipped with a highly advanced full-cybernetic body and powerful cyberbrain disguised to look like a mass-production model. The fact that she is almost entirely cyberized has led her to some complicated questions about identity.

And if you’re worried about “some basic assembly required” don’t be. It really is just the basics. Put the arms and head on, attach miniature to base. We’ve all been there, and presumably put together much jankier constructions because we (and here I mean me) couldn’t figure out which arms go with which torso in the Pathfinder kit.

At any rate, look for the Major Motoko Kusanagi miniature in April!

Ghost in the Shell really gave some people a standalone complex.
