We’ve got a miniature of a tiny tree. Is this the Bonsai of all Bonsai Trees?! This Rumor Engine is getting meta.

Welcome to another Tuesday! Today we’ve got a new Rumor Engine and it’s a very tiny tree. But before we get too far into this you should have a look for yourself.

Trees. From the most far-flung planets of the 41st Millennium to Ghyran in the Mortal Realms, there are trees. Some will eat you, some will provide crucial protection from incoming enemy fire, and some, like this one, are manicured into beautiful creations. The only question is – who’s the gardener?

Rumor Engine – Bonsai Tree Time

So obviously this is a plant and it’s in a classic Bonsai shape. That said, I really wonder who’s growing this tree. I would naturally gravitate towards the Sylvaneth here. But uh…they literally have a Battletome coming out for pre-order this weekend. So I don’t think it’s going to be them right now.

I was also thinking this reminded me of the Lumineth Realm-lords. I’m pretty sure they had a tree like this on one of their previous units, too. In fact, a few of them have similar trees…

The Stonemage has one.

The Shrine Luminor has like three or four of them.

And Teclis basically has a grove of them on his base, too. The point is that the LRL seem to be rather proficient at growing these little guys. Now, that doesn’t mean that this is 100% a LRL release tease but even the paint strokes match-up in style.

Anyhow, I can’t unsee that connection now. This is where you come in. If you’ve got another idea of who the gardener is of for this Rumor Engine let the rest of the class know in the comments. I’m curious who else this could belong to.
