Dark Horse Books will publish Our Brilliant Ruin TTRPG, by Studio Hermitage.
The Our Brilliant Ruin horror transmedia IP was first unveiled in 2024 by Studio Hermitage, an Embracer Group studio that is headed up by CEO Paxton Galvanek, Art Director Andy Foltz, and CCO Justin Achilli (see “‘Our Brilliant Ruin’“). Dark Horse published a comic series for the IP in March 2025, written by Cullen Bunn (see “Exclusive: Cullen Bunn to Write ‘Our Brilliant Ruin’“), and a core TTRPG book for this IP was offered up on Kickstarter in September 2025, where it raised $47,312 from 821 backers (about $58 per backer).
The retail Our Brilliant Ruin TTRPG core rulebook will be a full-color hardcover book that serves as a guide to the world Dramark, a place where society survives in a dying world. The book covers the basics of the game rules, which run on a D6 system, the setting, and character creation. It will retail for $59.99 and hit stores on September 15, 2026.
