Wizards of the Coast announced Secret Lair: Back to School Superdrop, new drops sets for Magic: The Gathering, which will be available for DTC preorder on April 27, 2026.
The latest Secret Lair Superdrop offers up a broad array of themed sets, including two My Little Pony sets. There are also two Japanese-art flavor sets: Return to the Mystical Archive and Maho Gakuin Seishun Hakusho. Some of the more interesting reprints in this Superdrop include Counterbalance, Terror of the Peaks, and Defense of the Heart.
The following drop sets will be available via this Superdrop:
- Secret Lair X My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): The first of two MYLP drop sets comes with a Generous Gift; a Reconnaissance Mission; a Radiate; a Defense of the Heart; an Arcane Signet and a Sol Ring.
- Secret Lair X My Little Pony: The Lands of Equestria (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): The second MYLP drop set contains two of each full-art, borderless basic land.
- Omens of Chaos (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): This Strixhaven-themed set includes an Abrupt Decay, a Batwing Brune, a Chance for Glory, a Counterflux, and a Growth Spiral.
- Secret Lair X Dwarf Fortress: Create a World (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): It is a stylized 8-bit inspired drop that contains a Secret Rendezvous, a Rune-Scarred Demon; a Terror of the Peaks; Communal Brewing and a Rogue’s Passage
- The Eyes Have It (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): This set comes with a a Counterbalance; a Gitaxian Probe; an Opt; an Otherworldly Gaze and a Baleful Strix.
- Maho Gakuin Seishun Hakusho (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): It is the first of the two Japanese flavor sets. The set includes Rule of Law, a Thought Scour, a Time Stretch, a Stinging Study, and a Notion Thief.
- Notebook Genius (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): The set is another school-inspired set that comes with a Lier, Disciple of the Drowned; a Bloodghast; a Storm-Kiln Artist and an Anhelo, the Painter.
- Return to the Mystical Archive (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): This is the second Japanese-art flavor sets that includes a Duty Beyond Death, a Spell Pierce, a Zombify, an Abrade, and a Shared Roots.
