Q-Workshop has released more information about the upcoming launch of its extensive line of dice sets and accessories inspired by The Lord of the Rings.  The new line will be released on July 22.

Announced at the GAMA Expo earlier this year (see “GAMA Expo 2026 News:  Q-Workshop Announces ‘The Lord of the Rings’ Dice Sets” for images of the new dice), the new line is officially licensed by Warner Bros. and will include at launch fifteen dice sets, seven dice pouches, and a dice cup, all featuring artwork and styling drawn from the expansive source material. The sets and pouches are primarily themed to the principal regions of Middle-earth and the adventures of the Fellowship of the Ring.

The initial launch will include these styles:

  • Ring-bearers, a seven-piece role-playing polyhedral dice set featuring full-color artwork across every die face.  Each die represents one of the Ring-bearers and includes the Ring’s inscription and Eye of Sauron imagery.  MSRP $45.00.
  • Rivendell – Stone, available in seven-piece RPG and ten six-sided dice sets in a pearlized white material with blue engravings of plant-themed details and elven heart-knots.  MSRP $25.00 each.
  • Rivendell – Water, also in seven-piece RPG and ten six-sided sets.  These are transparent dice with blue engraving featuring plant-themed details.  MSRP $25.00 each.

  • Gondor are navy blue in color with a glitter effect and silver-colored engravings.  Available in seven-piece polyhedral and ten six-sided dice sets.  MSRP $25.00 each.

  • Moria dice are crafted from a glitter-infused black material with engravings that appear beige but glow blue in the dark and feature imagery from Durin’s Doors and Balin’s Tomb.  Also available in polyhedral and ten six-sided sets.  MSRP $25.00 each.

  • Rohan, seven-piece polyhedral and ten six-sided sets made from a bottle-green plastic with matte-gold engravings sporting Rohan heraldic knotwork and horse and rider imagery. MSRP $25.00 each.
  • Shire, offering a softer, more homely light-green with beige engravings that feature iconic Hobbit-hole doors, pipe-smoke, and the sign of the Green Dragon Inn.  Also offered in seven-piece RPG sets and ten six-sided dice sets.  MSRP $25.00 each.

Alongside the dice, Q-Workshop is offering seven different dice pouches designed to complement the dice sets.  The durable cotton pouches are available separately with an MSRP of $16.00 each. The varieties include:

  • Ring-bearers FullArt Dice Pouch, featuring orange flames dancing with the Ring’s inscription, the Eye of Sauron, and the Ring itself.
  • Doors of Durin Dice Pouch in bold yellow with a full-color print of the Doors of Durin  with the engraving “Speak Friend and Enter” menaced by the Watcher in the Water.
  • Nazgul Dice Pouch made from beige-colored cloth with a grey-scale print of five Ringwraiths beneath a stylized title.
  • One Ring Dice Pouch in deep black with gold printing depicting the One Ring and the inscription “Keep it Secret, Keep it Safe”.
  • Shire Dice Pouch also in black with a full-color image of Gandalf and Frodo riding a cart into the town of Hobbiton framed in a Hobbit-door inspired wreath.

Rounding out the launch is The Fellowship of the Ring Dice Cup, crafted in light brown leather with hand-stitching and embossed artwork depicting the entire Fellowship of the Ring marching around it beneath the title The Lord of the Rings. Includes a lid embossed with the inscription from the One Ring.  MSRP $34.00.
