Next week, the Cities of Sigmar roll out in all their glory. New characters, new units, a battletome and two big boxes await!
Next week is a big one for the Cities of Sigmar. Not only do they get a new Battletome, they also get a bunch of new units, including a new Spearhead and Battleforce Box. Plus, you can snag made to order Vostroyan Firstborn and a new Warhammer Underworlds warband. All this, next week!
The Cities of Sigmar

It all kicks off with a new Battletome. Inside you’ll find all the updated rules you need for your army, or if you go for the special “gamer’s edition” you’ll also get extra reference cards to help got stay at the top of your tactical game.

This release adds a whole lot more “city” to the Cities of Sigmar, literally so, in the case of the new Cogfort. This turreted tower would be at home in the city or on the battlefield, where it can less discriminately unleash its cannon, be it the godbreaker or realmscorcher variant.

It’s hard to top a tower, in more ways than one, but Erasmus Zonn certainly does his best. Armed with the Lantern if All-Knowledge, he is sure to light your way to victory.

Meanwhile, the Mallus Forgepriest makes sure there’s still plenty of Sigmar for the Cities thereof. With hammer and faith, and a lot of smiting, they get the job done.

Bring some literal firepower to your ranks with the new Pyrocaster model. Full of burning ambition but mostly fire magic, they are sure to heat things up on the battlefield.

Amethyst Knellmages, on the other hand, master the shadowy sorceries of Shyish. Also they have cool scythes.

Freeguild Gallants are absolute units of Knights who prefer to fight on foot. Can heavy shields match blistering speed? Only one way to find out.

Speaking of shields, the Gate Gargants make the gate of any shield wall. They are perhaps the most Age of Sigmar-y model in this whole release.

By comparison, the Dawner’s Triumph, a magical mobile pillar seems downright tame.

Jorvan Kreel and his battlecat companion round out the ranks with the legendary skill and prowess of a Ranger-Colonel.

Freeguild Grenadiers fill out the last of the individual units. Armed with flamethrowers, guns, and polearms, they bring a taste of the Empire to the Cities of Sigmar.

Zenestra’s Zealots is the new Spearhead box. Led by Pontifex Zenestra herself, you’ll also get a Relic Envoy, a unit of 6 Freeguild Command Corps, and 10 Steelhelms.

Ven Denst’s Hounds it’s the new Regiment of Renown. Inside this kit you’ll find Ven Denst and his daughter, accompanied by 11 grizzled Wildercorps.

Also you can get Thyrielle’s Zephyrites plus made to order Vostroyan Firstborn. It’s a big weekend, so be sure and get those preorders ready!
All this, next week!
