Next week is pretty light, with only a couple of multi-ton tanks bristling with Heresy-era weaponry out for pre-order.
Next week seems pretty light on the pre-order front. Gee, I wonder why. It’s not like GW is busy ramping up for a new Edition in June or anything. At any rate, here’s a look at the two big tanks you can get for your games of Horus Heresy next week.
Heresy-Era Tanks
First up the Falchion Super-Heavy Tank Destroyer. And in case you’re wondering it’s both a super-heavy tank, and it is capable of destroying super-heavy tanks. And also Knights and daemons and anything else that gets in th way of its neutron-wave cannon. Combo that with a pair of laser destroyers, gravis heavy bolter batteries, or lascannon arrays and you’ve got a recipe for destruction.
If you prefer your tanks’ main weapons to be a bunch of guys that come storming out, than you might consider the Spartan Prometheus Assault Tank. Now you might be wondering, wouldn’t that be an assault transport instead of a tank? Take it up with the armored panelling and accompanying sponson-mmounted laser destroyers or gravis heavy bolter batteries.
You can find both of these tanks in the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book as well as the Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book. So whether you want these tanks in vanilla or Chaos, you’ve got them available.
