Free League revealed two of the battlemaps that will be part of the Alien RPG Second Edition coming to Kickstarter this fall. The full-color maps will be 34×22 inches scaled to the RPG miniature set that will also be part of the upcoming Kickstarter.
The first map features the mining ship USCSS Fidanza, a Nostromo-style spaceship.
The second map is of the mining colony Jeremiah VI.
Both maps will be part of the adventure included in the Kickstarter, Rapture Protocol. A similar map of the colony Hadley’s Hope from the film Aliens will be feature in the Hope’s Last Day Starter Set, also part of the Kickstarter.
The maps are specifically designed to take advantage of the new edition’s updated and expanded stealth mode rules. Free League also states, “Using these maps, the miniatures, and the updated rules, ALIEN RPG 2e can even be played as a miniatures skirmish game.”
No launch date is available at this time for the Kickstarter, but the pre-launch page is available to sign up for notifications.
