Time Out Dice Bench ($15)
I love the idea of having a dedicated space to shame those unruly dice that just won’t roll the numbers we need. The fact that it can accommodate up to four dice at once is a definite plus, adding to its functionality. If your dice have been bad — REALLY BAD — and the whole set just needs to take a time out, you can bench them with this set. Alternately, each player can contribute to their own misbehaving die; a timeout for the entire dice family!
Basketball Dice Tower ($15)
Simply put, this is like those hoops you see over garbage pails. Which is to say you know you need to throw something at a hole, this just makes it more fun. The difference is that dice rolls matter, and dice tend to bounce all over the place as it is. The video shows the basketball net against a wall for a reason.
Pillar-Shaped Combat Risers ($20)
What I didn’t realize is how brilliantly simple these columns are. They all screw into each other, so it’s just a matter of finding the right size and then putting them together. That is, each one of the pieces is 1-inch high, (slightly higher if you screw it in to a base), and thus you can put them together in 1-inch increments to represent the appropriate height. There’s also 1- and 2-inch bases, so you can even cover large creatures (likely common when fighting anything bigger than a humanoid).
Steampunk Dice Tower ($40)
A foldable tower that is secured with magnets, you’ll need to build this yourself — but then you get to paint it. Bonus points for distressing the wood and emphasizing the gears with rusted metal. Perfect for Steampunk games, but it’s actually more wood than Steampunk so it works for fantasy games too.
