Golden Demon 2025 is kicking off in March. It’s time to enter the fray! But what category will you choose?
Can you believe it’s 2025!? We live in the future. But also time is a flat circle, apparently (personally I blame gravity). Anyhow what that really means is that things tend to repeat. In this case it’s Golden Demon 2025 that’s coming back around. Although things are slightly different.
“The first leg of the competition will return to the US at AdeptiCon, which kicks off on the 26th of March. The show has a new home at the Baird Centre in Milwaukee. Read on for key updates about categories and awards. “
There are some slight adjustments to a couple of categories. But before we get into the weeds there let’s talk about those categories!

As far as places, each category will still have the standard Gold, Silver, Bronze awards. But there are some other changes:
“Below the podium, however, the awards have changed. The highest achievement is now Finalist, followed by Commended, and then Notable – all for entries that have caught the judges’ attention.”
Other Changes
One category that’s it’s “own thing” is the Duel category. This will allow “entrants to create vignettes featuring two opponents in fierce combat.” The other slight change is that Warhammer Underworlds warbands will now compete in the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Unit category. That does seem approriate.
For all the official info and other important information please see the official website. There’s way more info there if you are serious about entering into the competition. And if you DO enter, good luck! I can’t wait to see your pictures on WarCom.
Seriously. How can you NOT be inspired by that!
Time to get your hobby on! Good luck to all the Golden Daemon participants and happy hobbying!
