Renegade Game Studios announced a new wave of Heroscape sets, which are slated for a Q4 2025 release.
The wave features 11 sets total, including both painted and unpainted versions of the sets. In this announcement four different Army Expansions were unveiled:
Heroscape: Crimson Widow and Dreadnoughts of Caraway Cavern Army Expansion (Unpainted $40.00 ; Painted $60.00): This set comes with a unique hero and a 3-figure squad. The figures synergize with pirate figures from Battle for the Wellspring Battle Box and the Age of Annihilation Master Set, allowing the player to place the pirates under the command of the Crimson Widow.
Heroscape: Greatbow Archers and Scions of Icaria Army Expansion (Unpainted $40.00 ; Painted $60.00 ): It is an army expansion that comes with a two-figure common squad of Greatbow Archers and three-figure common squad of Scoins of Icaria.
Heroscape: Heroes of Aboreas Army Expansion (Unpainted $50.00 ; Painted $70.00): The set comes with five unique heroes for players to use with their armies: Haluchott, Corruptor of Beasts; Marachott, Mind Whisperer; Vrono the Brambebooth; Girusha, Grove Keeper and Chana the Zenithwing.
Heroscape: Krakenling and Gelryie Vanguards Army Expansion (Unpainted $40.00 ; Painted $60.00): This set includes a four-figure common squad and a common hero, the Krakenling, which has a Flailing Tentacles special attack.
There were also two terrain expansions:
Heroscape: The Ruins at Laur’s Edge Terrain Expansion (MSRP $70.00): It comes with 30 Wall Terrain pieces that allow players to build new Vahalla environments.
Heroscape: Roads of Valhalla Terrain Expansion (MSRP $50.00): This set lets players add on to their road terrain with bridges. It contains 16 single hex Road tiles, 2 five-hex Road tiles, and four Short Walls.
Renegade Game Studios also revealed Kids in Capes , a new Kids on Bikes spinoff RPG (see “‘Kids in Capes’“).
