Tabletop Vacations has licensed Dungeons & Dragons to offer up a two-day Dungeon Master University symposium.

This event, held at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, is aimed at preparing D&D players to becomes “confident, creative, and career-ready Dungeon Masters.” The symposium will offer a curriculum lead by games industry professionals that includes teaching skill building, campaign building, world building, and career building (as professional DM). Tabletop Vacations is the same company that has previously offered up D&D experiences in European castles.

“For years, we’ve brought unforgettable D&D experiences to castles across Europe,” said Tara Rout, Co-Founder of Tabletop Vacations. “DMU is the next evolution: an intensive, high-quality symposium crafted to build mastery and community among aspiring DMs.”  

The first Dungeon Master University will occur January 2-3, 2026.
