Marvel: Crisis Protocol – New Characters Teased At Gen Con 2025

It seems like Atomic Mass Games is just casually tossing these out there in the wild. We’ve got Hulk-sign for Marvel: Crisis Protocol.

Yeah, that was a mixed reference metaphor for the fact that we’ve got new Hulk-related characters coming to Marvel: Crisis Protocol. Now, personally, I was hoping to see a bigger announcement coming from AMG but Fantasy Flight Games isn’t doing an In-Flight Report for the first time in years. At least not at Gen Con. But typically we’d see some other coordination between the companies on account of their parent company being Asmodee.

In any case, all that isn’t why you clicked on that headline. You want to see the new characters coming, amirite!? Well, here you go.

Hulks Spotted At Gen Con 2025

There’s lots of photos of these characters floating around the internet right now. But I like to credit back to where I found them. These come from the post made by Reddit user LSPzee. So who do we have here?

First up is She-Hulk 2. We don’t have an official name but apparently there’s some info floating around a Discord somewhere that says that it’s “Sensational She-Hulk” but I couldn’t track that down. Still, it’s a neat sculpt with She-Hulk clearly coming out of her working suit to do some work.

After that, we’ve got a classic version of Samuel Sterns, aka Leader. I say “classic” because this version does have the extended head, just don’t quite as “brain-forward” as some artists have taken him. He also appears to be riding some sort of robot platform which seems very much like a Leader thing to do.

And finally (FINALLY!!!) we get General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” E. Ross, aka Red Hulk! Now, I’ve been hoping we’d see him show up for a long time now. Personally, I’m loving the sculpt and I think the paint job is killer. Additionally, there’s supposedly half of a car missing from this sculpt? I don’t know what that means exactly but I think it already looks awesome.

There are also some more miniatures that were teased but now are painted in the case/display at Gen Con 2025. So if you are there and want to pop by the Atomic Mass Games booth these should be in the case. I’m really loving the sculpts and paint jobs in the photos and I am even more hyped to see them in person.

When To Expect The Hulks?

Now, I know you’re all probably wondering when we’re going to get this pack in person. I am as well! Here’s the road map from AdeptiCon. Again, it’s worth mentioning this was NOT an exhaustive list of releases. I did notice the lack of a Blue Marvel and Spectrum on that release schedule list and those minis were painted/shown off back at AdeptiCon 2025.

In fact, the Hulk-related characters above weren’t even mentioned at AdeptiCon. Those are basically a complete surprise. While other characters that were teased aren’t in that case.

I’m only bringing this up because it just shows that AMG isn’t showing off ALL the cards in their hand just yet — for whatever reason. I can’t really blame them, they want to keep a few things as a surprise. I can respect that.

So when are we getting them? I really don’t know! But the fact that we’ve got the painted minis being shown off is a really good sign. So perhaps sooner rather than later on that release list.
