The Imperial Fists also have a new Combat Patrol coming out. It’s only fair we give them the Pricing Breakdown treatment, too.
We tackled the Raven Guard Combat Patrol. Now it’s time to look at those brightly colored defenders of Humanity. The Imperial Fists are on the way so let’s see if this box set is a worth addition.
Imperial Fist Combat Patrol Pricing Breakdown
Contents
Space Marine Company Heroes $65
Total Individual MSRP $268.20
Total Savings $98.25
*Based on the base cost of the 10-man Intercessors squad divided in half.
Again, we’re basing the savings on a $170 price point which is what we’ve come to expect from these new Combat Patrols. Savings-wise, this is a pretty good deal. It’s almost $100 off the individual retail pricing. I think this is actually a great deal for anyone looking to start a Space Marine Army in general.
It’s also worth mentioning you get the Imperial Fist transfers (which is a total of 507 transfers). You also will have access to the Combat Patrol’s rules when they go up for free on the WarCom site. So if you were wanting to dive into an Imperial Fist army or if you just wanted to dabble, you’re set!
Is Rampart Force Torreus Worth It?
As far as my grading scale of Peat, Repeat, No-Peat, I think this one is a Repeat. Specifically if you’re wanting to play Space Marines. You’re basically getting a bunch of 5-man squads. Getting a second box means you get to fill those up to 10-man if you want (and in cases where that’s applicable). The only drawbacks are the Space Marine Captain (do you need 2 — debatable) and the Company Heroes set. But I’ll challenge that with the fact that the discount is steep enough you could you use the second set of Company Heroes as bits to further customize your units. They’d make for some really excellent squad leaders/sergeants in my book. If you’re a kit basher this one seems like a steal.

Again, while this box is technically an Imperial Fist Combat Patrol, non of these models are chapter specific. You could totally buy this box and run them for whatever chapter you’d like. Heck, you could still use the Combat Patrol rules for these models but under a different chapter name. That’s kind of the fun part of collecting and playing Space Marines. So yeah, snagging a copy is a good idea. And if you’re jump starting Space Marines, getting two is a really good idea.
I think I like this one better than the “default” Space Marine Combat Patrol…
