Fabula Ultima TTJRPG Celebration Edition + Bestiary Vol. I from Need Games

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? The latest million dollar TTRPG crowdfunding project is live on Kickstarter. Fabula Ultima is a fantasy TTRPG inspired by Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Octopath Traveler, and Granblue Fantasy. The game is an Adamantine best seller at DriveThruRPG and won a 2023 gold Ennie for Best Game and a silver Ennie for Product of the Year. This campaign is used to reprint all of the books in the game as deluxe editions. These aren’t new editions, but they will incorporate the errata from two years of gameplay. - WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Grimdark, eldritch, and pirates using a 5e engine, this project may be another million dollar TTRPG crowdfunding project. In this 350-page book, there are multiple species, foes, monsters, things to morph into, new subclasses, naval combat rules, and more. Among the fun, there’s a mimic ship. This sounds like Pirate Borg, but for 5e. If you like the idea of this project, check out the Kickstarter for a playtest preview.

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? This campaign offers two sourcebooks with over 400 pages of new 5e content. The focus of this 5e setting is dark survival. There are new ancestries, subclasses, spells, monsters, battle maps, and adventures. These books offer a blood alchemy system. The campaign envisions a world of corruption, horrors, and jeopardy. Honestly, making a character-grinder 5e is an interesting thought exercise, and I’m curious how it translates in these books. - WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Imagine a 1980s VHS horror-inspired game that uses the Dungeon Crawl Classics engine and diceset to tell its tales of terror. The idea behind the setting is a darkness that has overtaken the world, unleashing every horror movie trope while leaving only the “extras” to try to overcome these deadly scares. Unlike some horror movie RPGs, this one has more built-in gaming options since the darkenss of the setting includes a variety of subgenres. If you’re a fan of the DCC engine and horror, this Backerkit may be right for your Halloween season.
Cyberpunk Legends: Into the Night from Night Crew Games
