Are you one of the many Daggerheart curious folks out there? Good news, there’s a free Daggerheart Adventure Bundle on Roll20.

Daggerheart has been consistently in the top five titles on DriveThruRPG since its release. There is no shortage of interest or popularity for Critical Role/Darrington Press’ new fantasy RPG. And if you’ve played it, you know very well how it blends traditional fantasy RPG elements with narrative-driven RPG ideas to create its own sizable niche. If you haven’t played it, now’s the perfect time to take it for a spin, thanks to a new, free Daggerheart Adventure Bundle available on Roll20.

Roll20’s Daggerheart Adventure Bundle – Quickstarts, Maps, Handouts, More

Look, if you want to give Daggerheart a try, this is probably going to be one of the easiest ways to do it. I say this because Roll 20’s setup means you have a program there to help you track the fiddliest bits – and that’s the hardest thing about Daggerheart, at least for me. My own campaign is four sessions in, and I feel like we’re starting to get the hang of handling all that.

At any rate, inside the Roll20 Daggerheart Adventure Bundle, you’ll get a plethora of ready-to-play assets. Starting with the quickstart adventure. This is the “teach players and the GM how the game works” module. And despite coming with custom maps featuring dynamic lighting and handouts and Demiplane-integrated sheets, you’ll probably want to read through the module beforehand anyway.

The bundle also gives you access to the Demiplane Daggerheart Nexus as well. So you can use Demiplane’s digital sheets and snag an art pack with more than 50 tokens, portraits, and landscapes. This on top of all the improvements that Roll20 has made to the Daggerheart tabletop setup, including a range scale for keeping track of the theatre of the mind style combats.

All that to say, there’s a ton of good reasons to play Daggerheart on Roll20. You can check out the full list of features below.

Inside the pack:

  • A ready-to-play VTT adventure
  • Maps from Map Doctor complete with dynamic lighting, foreground layers, and connected play
  • Demiplane PC & NPC Sheets
  • In-game Handouts
  • Pre-built Adversaries and Characters

And it’s free. Which, in this economy, is just about affordable.

Seriously though, the quickstart adventure is pretty fun! You never know when that will kickstart a campaign.
