The genetically engineered transhuman super soldier boys in blue are back with a new battleforce box coming next weekend!
Get ready for an Ultramarines Battleforce Box. This one full of Terinator armor and a host of other new toys. But it’s not just a big box of boys, it’s also a whole Ultramarines reinforcement release. An upgrade sprue. Characters. The whole works. Plus a few other fun surprises, including a new version of Da Red Gobbo. All this as part of next week’s pre-orders.
Ultramarines (And Friends)
It all kicks off with the Crux Terminatus Battleforce ox. This is a whole battle box full of Terminators. You get the whole slew of Terminator options. You get five regular Terminators and ten Assault Terminators, which can be fitted out with thunder hammer and storm shield or dual lightning claws.
These big beefy blue boys are capable of charging into battle with even the most ferocious of enemies and come out alive. Well. Some of them. Ceramite armor is tough, but it only goes so far.
To get past the greatest horrors in the galaxy, you need experience. And no one has experience quite like an Ancient in Terminator Armor. But if you don’t want an Ancient with Standard, you can also build a Captain or Chaplain. In Terminator Armor, obviously.
Of course you could always snag the new and improved Marneus Calgar. With a potent new sculpt, this miniature depicts Calgar in the ancient Armor of Antilochus. With relic Terminator armor outfitted with the signature Gauntlets of Ultramar, Calgar is a formidable foe indeed.
And in the wake of recent evets, Cato Sicarius has gotten a promotion. As Commander of the Ultramarines’ Victrix Guard, Sicarius bears the Talassarian tempest blade and looks absolutely stylish.
Speaking of the Victrix Honor Guard, you can also pick up a new Victrix kit, featuring three Victrix Guard with interchangeable heads, arms, and greaves – you can outfit one as a Chapter Champion and one as a Chapter Ancient with Banner of Macragge.
And in the new Ultramarines Upgrade sprue, you’ll get a whole slew of new bits and pieces to customize your models as members of the Ultramarines. You’ll get new bits, including Terminator bits, vehicle bits, and of course, plenty of Ultima symbols.
Or jump in with the Ultramarines Combat Patrol. This box comes with Chief Librarian Tigurius, three Aggressors, three Bladeguard Veterans, five Reivers, and five Intercessors as well as the Upgrades sprues above. Fun times for anyone from Ultramar.
But it’s not just blue-hued Space Marines this week. There’s another mini, depicted in blue (in some of the pictures) – the new multipart plastic Drukhari Archon. Capable of wielding blast pistol, splinter pistol, or soul trap in the right hand, and agoniser, huskblade, or master-crafted power weapon in the left, the new Archon is ready to round up anyone who seems like a good fit for the arena.
Rounding it all out is Da Red Gobbo. He is ready to redistribute the wealth, mostly explosives, hand delivered to whoever happened to forget their armored chimney plates this year. Da new model for Da Red Gobbo comes with a mechanical Tinboy that looks very Vostroyan – proving that they are the Nutcrackers of the 40K world.
