Well, a mix of new and returning units. Let’s see what’s coming to the Horus Heresy after the World Champs Preview!

You didn’t think we were skipping these previews did you? Of course not! I was just a late night. So let’s revisit some of these teases that GW dropped for the World Championship preview. The Horus Heresy got a ton of great stuff and a new boxed set coming to help kick start your forces.

The Siege Assault Battle Group

This new boxed set features some up-scaled Cataphractii Terminators! A welcome sight for sure. And they’ve got a few different load-outs to play around with.

Furthermore, this set also come with MK III ‘Iron Armor’ Breacher Squads. These have that iconic look along with the shields to really bring the point home — they are here to breach and clear!

The Breacher Squad also have additional weapon options as well. And also included in the box is a Leviathan Dreadnought. It might not be new but it’s still cool!

Mechanicum Battle Group

The Legions Astartes aren’t the only faction getting a new Battle Group either. The Mechanicum has one coming, too!

The Mechanicum Skitarii Battle Group adds in the new Skitarii units as well as a new Automata. Check these out:

I really like that you can see the early designs of the Skitarii in these units as well as the origins of a certain chaos drone with the Vultarax Stratos-Automata. There’s also a new book coming to help out with the rules and lore of these Skitarii units.
