Next week’s pre-orders are surprisingly full of both melee weapons and shields, with the release of both Assault Terminators and Chaos Marauders. Who needs gun or crossbows when you’re covered in enough armor to withstand the slings and arrows of outragerous fortune? And you have either servomotors or the power of Chaos to propel you forward? Trust me, you’ll absolutely wreck everyone just fine.
Whatever your preference for fast, hard assaults, you’ll find them all next week. Plus some made to order Chaos and a few other Space Marine heroes, too. All this, next week!
Assault Terminators And Suboden Khan
It all kicks off with Ferren Areios, fresh out of the Master of Rites novel, which is also available for pre-order this week with his thunder hammer ‘Honour’ Ferren Areios is ready to lead his brothers into battle. And soon you’ll be able to find legends rules for him online.
But it’s all about Terminators in every shape and size this week, starting with the Assault Terminators. Clad in Tactical Dreadnought Armour and armed with either thunder hammer and shield or paired lightning claws, they will crush any who stand in their way.
Then there’s the Ancient in Terminator armor. They are tasked with guarding the various banners, standards, colors, and other decorative items that make for tempting targets on the battlefield. No one is as hell-bent on preserving the glory of the Imperium as those who have served for a truly long time.
Finally, speeding across the battlefield in glorious White Scar colors and on a jetbike capable of boosts of maneuverability that get him where he needs to be, it’s none other than Suboden Khan, wielding both power sword and the glaive Stormtooth.
Chaos Marauders of the Old World
Then there’s the Old World, which is beset with the Marauders of Chaos. Starting with the new Arcane Journal, The Razing of Westerland. Within, you’ll follow the tale of Frydaal the Chainmaker’s invasion of Westerland, and learn the lore of the many tribes that fight by her side. Within are new profiles and rules for Marauder Tribes, including Chaotic Traits, Chaotic Cults, Lore of the Shadowlands, plus Artefacts of the Shadowlands.
Speaking of Marauder tribes, the Chaos Marauders Army Reinforcement Set is full of marauders enough to rain terror join any coast. Inside you’ll get 40 new Chaos Marauders, with enough options to build four units of 10, each with full command options. You’ll also get 10 Marauder Horsemen, which can be built as two units of 5.
