Paizo, Inc. will release Beginner Box: Secrets of the Unlit Star, for Pathfinder RPG 2E, into retail on May 6, 2026.
The new Beginner Box is an entry level product that contains everything players need to learn how to play the Pathfinder RPG 2E. This box comes with a 72-page Hero’s Handbook that covers basic rules for character generation, skills, spells, and equipment as well as an 88-page Game Master’s Guide that features an introductory adventure and has monster stats, rules for building an adventure, and information on magic items. It also contains four premade characters for players to use in this first adventure, over 100 paperboard character and monster pawns, a full-color double-sided adventure map, four game reference cards, and a complete set of polyhedral dice.
This product will retail for $49.99.
Paizo, Inc. also revealed Lost Omens: Hellfire Dispatches, a new sourcebook for Pathfinder 2E (see “‘Pathfinder 2E: Hellfire Crisis’“).
