The Orks are ready to WAAAGHH!!! in Dawn of War IV. They have a new Faction Trailers showcasing a ton of carnage to dive into!
When it comes to the Dawn of War series one of the recurring factions has been the Orks. Well, they are back once again and ready to cause loads of destruction on their foes. Yesterday, there was a Faction Teaser showcase. You’re probably going to have to watch this one on youtube though…
If you’re like us and you’ve been waiting with bated breath for a good, long look at the gameplay from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, wait no longer – the first of four faction trailers is here, and we’re kicking off with everyone’s favourite mean and green rabble. Gorgutz is back, and his Orks are on the warpath. And he’s not the only Warboss on Kronus…
Orks In Dawn of War IV

First up, the Gorkanaut is here! But that’s just the tip of the Orky Spear….
There’s the greentide of Ork Boyz rushing ahead of a Battlewagon …or I guess technically this is a Bonebreaka based on the turret up top. I don’t see a crane so it’s not a Gunwagon. But I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s an option for that.
Here’s a look at the Boyz going at it with some Space Marines.
Up next we have some Squighog Riders. This is a calvary unit ready to charge in and cause mass destruction.
The Flash Gitz are also on the move here. They are packing some serious firepower and bring a bucket-load of Dakka!
Here’s a nice group shot of the Heavies coming to war. And yes, Deff Dreads are marching along side the Gorkanaut and the Bonebreakas.
Finally, we have a look at the Ork’s buildings which will be some of the cheapest to build in the game apparently. Oh and they all have guns on them because of course they do!
We also know there are TWO Ork Warlords running around. It seems like a major part of the campaign will be which Warboss you’re going to side with. There’s the returning Warboss Gorgutz. However, there’s also the new Guzcutta. Now, what’s interesting about Guzcutta is that he will start as a Beast Snagga Boss on foot but can also get a Squigosaur to ride around later. That’s according to the developer. I’m curious to see how that one plays out!
Also in the video there’s a few units like Nobz that are included but not mentioned. If you get a chance to check out the video on YouTube you can spot all the cool other stuff Orks are getting. I spotted a weird boy and also the Orks getting a WAAAGH! boost or Greentide power-up or something. They looked extra killy and durable when that was happening.
Dawn of War IV is coming later this year. The Orks are ready…are you?
