The errata is out. But I’m not sure if this was missed or just delayed. In either case we have an official Mighty Avengers Affiliation roster.
So earlier this month Atomic Mass Games released Blue Marvel and Spectrum. I unboxed these miniature and got a closer look. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with them miniature wise.
That said, on the day they were released we were collectively waiting for their Mighty Avengers Roster to come out. But that didn’t arrive. In fact it took a few days for folks to get a semi-official list. I remember checking daily to see if the Affiliation List was updated and also for an Errata for Septrum’s Pulsar Wave to cost 4 energy. Well, apparently it was updated when the 2026 Timeline document was also updated a day or two ago.
So I pulled up the Affiliation list and would you look at that…it’s been back dated to January 9th, 2026.
It still freaks me out a little that Red Skull got overwritten by Kang on the box art…but maybe that’s just me. Anyhow, let’s get to the official stuff.
Might Avengers Affiliation List
Again, this shouldn’t be a huge surprise. We knew this was coming from before.
What’s also worth noting is that Blue Marvel is also a member of the Defenders Affiliation, too.
Obviously there’s more Defenders but that’s worth pointing out. Strangely, Spectrum really isn’t on any other teams. And neither one of them is on the main Avengers Affiliation list either. I mean…I get it. That’s already one of the larger Affiliations in the game. But I just figured it was worth pointing out.
Spectrum
Now, about Spectrum’s Puslar Wave. As you can see from the card it’s got a listed cost of 0 energy. We knew from the start that it was a misprint and that an errata was on the way. Well, that was apparently updated on the same day.
So there you have it. We’ve got an official errata showing Spectrum’s power is indeed a 4 cost power. And we’ve got the official Affiliation document, too. Again, I’m pretty sure everyone playing in any sort of competitive environment was aware of these things already. But now we can point anyone who’s not 100% caught up back to the AMG rules section for MCP and it’s no longer a game of “oh I saw that in a forum or random reddit post.”
In any case Blue Marvel and Spectrum are out now! I’ve been having a blast with Blue Marvel in general but that Mighty Avengers Leadership is BONKERS.
Marvel: Crisis Protocol – Blue Marvel & Spectrum $42.99
This pack brings two new characters to Marvel: Crisis Protocol, the powerhouse Blue Marvel and the leader of the Mighty Avengers Spectrum to the game. Spectrum adds a new Affiliation, the Mighty Avengers to the game with a new leadership that allows members of her squad to be able to transfer some of the Power they gain to their allies.
The Mighty Avengers is an exciting mixture of characters from the Marvel: Crisis Protocol catalogue, making it extremely compelling for veteran players with large collections. Blue Marvel adds a new 5 Threat to both Defenders and the Mighty Avengers Affiliations. Highly efficient with his actions, he serves as a potent tank and damage dealer who can attack from both long and short range.
I’m still not sure what took so long… but the corrections are here now!
