The Game Manufacturers Association unveiled its 2026 Power Retail Awards finalists.
The Power Retail Awards are given out annually by GAMA to recognize excellence in tabletop games retail across four different categories (see “GAMA Power Retail Awards“). This year, there were 750 nominations submitted. The finalists in each category are as follows:
- Innovation in Games (Retail). Fantasy Books and Games from Fairview Heights, IL; Modern Explorers Guild from Midland, MI; Oddwillow’s Game Haven from Mukwonago, WI and The Feisty Goblin Gamehouse from New Kensington, PA.
- Outstanding Contribution to the Games Industry (Retail). Eclectic Games from Reading, Berkshire, U.K.; Modern Explorers Guild from Midland, MI; Oddwillow’s Game Haven from Mukwonago, WI; Silver Dragon Games from Peoria, AZ and The Gamers Den from Cambridge, MN
- Outstanding Store Design. Anime Kat from Port Angeles, WA; Oddwillow’s Game Haven from Mukwonago, WI; Slick Mimic’s from Appleton, WI; Sylvan Factory Games from Ann Arbor, MI and The Feisty Goblin Gamehouse from New Kensington, PA.
- Retailer of the Year. Fantasy Books and Games from Fairview Heights, IL; USA Modern Explorers Guild from Midland, MI; Oddwillow’s Game Haven from Mukwonago, WI; Silver Dragon Games from Peoria, AZ and The Gamers Den from Cambridge, MN.
The winners will be announced at GAMA Expo on March 1, 2026 at the Welcome Reception from 8 pm to 11 pm.
