Next week sees the Adeptus Custodes wade into the Horus Heresy in all their splendor. Plus, get some made-to-order orcs and goblins.

Someone call Henry Cavill, because next week’s pre-orders are all about the Adeptus Custodes. Though it’s the Custodes in the time of the Horus Heresy, when they have even more wonderful toys to play with. Alongside the Emperor’s golden boys and golden girls, you can also get a bunch of classic orcs and goblins made-to-order.

Heresy-Era Custodes

It all kicks off with the Liber Custodes. This is the book for the Adeptus Custodes in your Horus Heresy games. It has, as you might expect, all the rules and tools you need to run your Custodes army. But it’s not just the Custodes. You’ll also find rules for the Anathema-Psykana and Divisio Assassinorum unit profiles as well.

But the real shining glory of this week’s pre-order releases is the Legio Custodes Battle Group. This big box contains the full might of the Emperor’s finest. You’ll get a ton of golden-armored greatness here, starting with a Shield Captain, 6 Custodian Guard, 6 Sentinel Guard, a Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought with galatus warblade and gravis praesidium shield, and Caladius Annihilator grav-tank with either twin lastrum bolt cannon or twin neutronium cascade projector.

Do you need even bigger guns? Then you’ll want the Glaive Super-heavy Special Weapons Tank. It is a heavily armed variant of the Fellblade that boasts a volkite carronade, making it capable of hewing through whole battalions of infantry or squads of Astartes. It also comes with sponson mounted lascannon arrays that can be swapped for laser destroyers or gravis heavy bolter batteries.

And if you love tanks so much you want to be one, then there’s the Mailed Fist, also for Horus Heresy. This book is all about tanks and other super-heavies, it comes with rules for “asymmetrical games.” So get ready to break out your biggest guns.

Plus, you can get made to order orcs and goblins starting this coming Saturday through March 30th!

All this, next week!
