Pathfinder Lost Omens: High Seas
What’s not to love about a book like this? It’s full of swashbuckling adventure ideas and locales. If you want a campaign that takes place on a boat, Pathfinder Lost Omens: High Seas is going to make sure you’ve got all sorts of interesting places to go.
Whether that’s on, above, or below the various regions in the Inner Sea. In a nutshell, this book is another regional gazetteer that delves into all things pirate-y. Along with it, you get a fold-out poster map, a bunch of new lore, and of course, a few new player options.
After all, the book is taking you into some of the more scum-and-villainy coded regions of Golarion. It wouldn’t be right to not include at least a little something for players with a bit of a roguish bent to them.
“Set a course for grand adventures with this expansive hardcover guide to the open waters of the Inner Sea. Since time immemorial, the people of Golarion have been setting out into the sea to gather resources, ply their trades, and seek secrets both above and below the water. Explore the failed utopia of the island of Hermea, the home of deadly Red Mantis assassins on Mediogalti Island, the mysteries of the Mordant Spire grown from the remains of a dead god, the countless pirate-scoured islands of the Shackles, or the dangerous depths of underwater regions. Each entry within this gazetteer includes the history, culture, and current events of the region, as well as a major city to include in a variety adventures. The book also includes new character options and a fold-out poster map!”
So, whether you’re a GM hoping to unleash all those sea monsters at long last, or you’re a player with an idea for a swashbuckler but you just need the perfect place to call your home, you’ll want to check out this book. But you’ll have to wait until July.
Until then, time to go brush up on your vaguely West Country accent so you can be ready to tell the scurvy bilge rats how it’s going to be when the time comes.
And I guess start calling everyone lubbers, too. Be prepared!
