AdeptiCon 2026 is next week and Games Workshop’s preview is lined up. So what do you think will be showcased?

In case you missed the teasers, Games Workshop’s AdeptiCon Preview Show will be on Wednesday March 25, 2026. You’ll want to check the time zones for when you can tune in to watch it live. Thankfully, GW has a nice graphic for that.

Now, I already did a bit of a teaser breakdown. So what I wanted to focus on today was the actual systems getting revealed. And you can see the list above:

  • Warhammer: 40,000
  • Warhammer: Age of Sigmar
  • Warhammer: The Horus Heresy
  • Warhammer: 40,000 – Kill Team
  • Warhammer: Underworlds
  • Middle-Earth – Strategy Battle Game

So let’s talk about a few of the big ones and the obvious things we can expect.

Warhammer: 40,000

It’s the 11th Edition Preview, right? RIGHT?! This has GOT to be the teaser. If GW’s pattern holds true, then we’re looking at 40k Summer launch of the new edition. And it sure looks like we’re either getting an expansion for the current edition that is set on Armageddon OR we’re getting a new 11th edition launch box set for Armageddon. Either way, I’m expecting a whole lot of Orks to be present. I’m also wondering if we’re going to get Space Marines or someone else to fight for the Imperium this time around.

Shoot, wouldn’t it be something to see the Death Korps (as Steel Legion) on the cover this this box vs Orks? Talk about a curveball. I wouldn’t mind seeing GW try that plan out. They’ll either sell a whole lot of Astra Militarum and Orks or you’ll be able to start one of those armies much cheaper! That seems like a win either way for the players.

Will there be more reveals? I sure hope so. But fingers crossed we finally get an update about what’s to expect for a new edition. Also, new Primarch news maybe?!

Warhammer: Age of Sigmar

This one is simple: More Battletomes. It feels like AoS has been on a break from 2025. We started off strong with a string of new Battletomes in 2026 though. I’m betting we’re going to see more of those teased. The Ossiarch Bonereapers got a nice boost of new miniatures so I wonder which army will get the next big batch. There’s likely to be a couple of Battletomes revealed along with a miniature or two per army that gets revealed though. I’m just wondering who’s going to get what!

Warhammer: The Horus Heresy

This one is a weird one for me. We’re about to get a big Legio Custodes release. So I’m wondering who’s left. Maybe some Dark Mechanicum for the Horus Heresy at the 40k scale? Perhaps. But what’s odd is that the Horus Heresy also encompasses Legions Imperialis, too. So who knows what GW is cooking up. I also think that when one system gets a new unit they aren’t far behind for the other system. So we might get a bunch of Legio Custodes releases for Legions Imperialis! Wouldn’t that be something.

Kill Team / Underworlds

Both of these game are going to get either new “seasonal updates” with a new battlebox or way to jump in. Either that or some combination of new Kill Team/Warbands. I’m betting we get at least one per system. We might even get two per if we get a battlebox. The real question is what armies should get a new Kill Team/Warband. That’s the tough one! Honestly, GW seems to really have fun with the teams and sculpts for both of these systems as they get to be more creative. Whatever they reveal, I’m looking forward to the new miniatures.

As for Middle-Earth, I’ll leave that one open to folks in the comments. Let us know what you think GW is going to show off for that system.
