One of the Hottest New Miniatures Game at the Show; Preview Images of Gameplay Revealed
Archon Studio, along with Blizzard Entertainment, unleashed Starcraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game at Adepticon 2026.
This game was clearly one of the hottest new miniatures games to debut at Adepticon 2026, and was almost sold out early on Thursday after the exhibit floor opened. The Two-Players Starter Set – Founder’s Edition was announced in early March, and is slated for a May 2026 retail release date (see “Two-Player Starter Set Incoming“). Archon also had the faction-specific Protoss: Starter Set on hand at the show as well as the Protoss: Zeratul miniature expansion.
Gameplay was also revealed at the show. The game proceeds over the course of several rounds; each round consists of four phases. Players deploy and move their units during a Movement Phase, which is followed by an Assault Phase (where pre-combat movements occur). Attacks occur during the Combat Phase, and everything is mopped up and initiative for the next round is determined in the Scoring and Cleanup phase.
