War heats up in the Mortal Realms with the pre-order release of the new Spearhead: City of Ash and a new Battleforce for Arkhan the Black.
The Mortal Realms gear up for even more conflict as not one, but two different Spearhead armies come clashing together in a big new boxed set. Spearhead: City of Ash pits the Cities of Sigmar against the hordes of the Skaven in this new expansion. Plus, the Ossiarch Bonereapers get a new Battleforce box led by none other than Arkhan the Black. All this, next week!
City of Ash and Null Myriad Phalanx
Of course the big new hotness is Spearhead: City of Ash. Inside this new expansion are a whopping 42 miniatures, representing an elite group of warriors from Cities of Sigmar, and a whole bunch of rats from the Skaven.
The Freeguilds of the Cities of Sigmar lead the charge, with 10 Freeguild Grenadiers and 5 Freeguild Gallants making up the bulk of the force. A Malleus Forgepriest provides much needed support, and leading from the front is Jorvan Kreel, the “Heir of the Kraken.”
Meanwhile the Skaven bring their vast numbers to bear in the form of 10 Night Runners and 10 Gutter Runners, all led by Deathmaster Graxxit and a second, unnamed Skaven Deathmaster, and a pair of Bomb Rats to provide an explosive show of support.
And then there’s the new Battleforce box for the Ossiarch Bonereapers, the Null Myriad Phalanx. LEd by Arkhan the Black, Nagash’s most trusted servant, the Null Myriad Phalanx is a hefty force. Alongside Arkhan is a Mortisan Soulmason, 4 Morghast Archai/Harbingers, and 20 Mortek Guard. It’s a huge jump start to an Ossiarch Army of any sizee.
