Armageddon: The Return of Yarrick has new characters joining the game. Here are the rules for Inquisitor Kroyle and Intranzia Fraye!
The Adeptus Sororitas are getting a new character on her Throne of Blame. Meanwhile, the Inquisition has dispatched a Lone Operative big game hunter with Inquisitor Kroyle making his way to the tabletop. Both of these mounted characters bring a little something special to the tabletop. Let’s see what they can do!
All good commanders know an elevated position is the best place from which to lead your army, and both of these characters have taken their own strange and deadly mounts to the battlefield.
Dogmata Superior Intranzia Fraye Rules
One of the cool things about Fraye is that she’s got the “holy trinity” of Imperial Weapons: Bolt, Flame, and Melta. That seems appropriate for a Sister of Battle!
You can see her stats above and she’s on a tough chassis with 8 wounds and a 3+/4++ save. On top of that, she’s also got a Feel No Pain of 5+, too! It’s going to be rough to get damage through her defenses and make it stick. But her toughness isn’t the thing that really makes her stand out. Fraye has two abilities worth checking out. Righteous Denunciation causes battle shock tests for enemies within 6″ during the fight phase AND it’s at -1. And Judged for Execution can really pile on the damage to an enemy target because of the [Lethal Hits] that gets applied to attacks targeting them.
I think Intranzia Fraye is going to be an interesting option to add to the Sisters of Battle Roster. She can really help to focus fire down an enemy target and even help mop up in melee, too. While Fraye isn’t a crazy over-the-top combat junkie (relative to other actual crazy over-the-top combat junkies), she’s got some nice support synergy for the army.
Inquisitor Kroyle Rules
Inquisitor Kroyle is the epitome of a noble on safari. He’s fast on his mount and his Xenos rifle has a nice 36″ range. It also get stronger every time you shoot and hit something up to a max of 6 damage. Honestly, that’s kind of terrifying! On top of having the Lone Operative and a Scout move of 6″, he’s got a 3+/4++ save and 6 wounds, too. He’s really just going to prance around the tabletop and take pop-shots at whatever targets need to go away.
What does make him more of a team player is that he comes with On My Signal, Fire! as an ability. This grants re-rolls to hit for Agents of the Imperium or Imperium Infantry Battleline models attacks the same target. That’s not bad! He’s also no slouch in melee, but I’m sure he’d prefer to keep his enemies down range and away from him.
What do you make of these two new characters for the Imperium?
