Does the House always win in New Vegas? A new sourcebook for Modiphius’ Fallout RPG might just even the odds. Preorder today!
Fallout: New Vegas is widely considered one of the best Fallout games of all time. And rightly so, I might add. It’s got an incredible mix of an open world that’s as interesting to explore as it is dangerous (if you have ever tried to take a shortcut through Quarry Junction, you know exactly what’s up), a cast of NPCs that is as diverse and varied as the Wastelands themselves. And of course, the storyline is full of cinematic, set-piece moments and twists and turns that take you in unexpected directions.
Needless to say, I’m super excited to see a Fallout: New Vegas sourcebook for Modiphius’ Fallout RPG in the works. In fact, it’s more than in the works; it’s out for pre-order as of today. Let’s check it out!
Fallout: New Vegas – Your RPG Sourcebook For Beating The Odds
The Fallout New Vegas Setting Guide from Modiphius will be your guide to the Mojave wasteland. As well as New Vegas. Because this book knows exactly what you need for your tabletop game – the glitz and glamor of New Vegas coupled with the quintessential New Vegas experience of getting hounded by cazadors while you’re just trying to get away with a few scraps from an abandoned gas station.
As you might imagine, the New Vegas RPG setting guide has a bunch of stuff for GMs, but you’d be surprised to know that it is also full of plenty of stuff for players. You’ll find two new Character origins, including a Courier or from one of the Three Families. There are eight new Character Traits, seven new Perks, and a whole bunch of new gear, like the iconic NCR Ranger armor.

“The New Vegas Setting Guide enables Fallout RPG players and gamemasters to learn about the many iconic locations in and around New Vegas and encounter the characters and creatures that dwell there. Players will also find new character options, including backgrounds, perks, traits, and plenty of gear with which to build and euqip their characters before setting off to explore the Mojave.
Alongside the new player options, there’s a host of new stuff for GMs. This includes a bunch of iconic locations, as the description suggests. You’ll find a detailed writeup of stuff like the Hoover Dam and the Mojave Outpost. But what you’ll really want are the new fleshed-out stat blocks and special rules for the various denizens of New Vegas, and its antagonists among Caesar’s Legion.
The Fallout: New Vegas Setting Guide is available for pre-order now, expected to ship in August!
