Grand Cathay: Astromancers And Gunner And Peasants, Oh My!

The Astromancers of Grand Cathay have an easier time than Wizards of the Empire, in part because their traditions are designed with the great dragons corraling the Winds of Magic in mind. In this kit, you’ll get two Astromancers as well as a Crowman familiar.

Iron Hail & Crane Gunner Teams make up some of the best gunners that Cathay has to offer. Whether you want the long range of the Crane Gunners, or the short range Iron Hail, you’ll find what you need here. This kit comes with 12 Iron Hail gunners and 8 Crane Gunners.

Peasant Levies make up the bulk of Cathay’s forces. Though they aren’t trained, the Great Dragon’s iron will goes a long way in battle. Each box comes with 20 peasant le ies and a variety of options for head and weapon.
Horus Heresy: Solar Auxilia

Meanwhile, the Solar Auxilia break out the Ogryns for some heavy-hitting new units. You’ll find four Charonite Ogryns boasting weapons from the Dark Age of Technology in each kit.

Joining them are two different Rapier Batteries. The Rapier Fire Support Battery comes with two platforms that can mount either a rapid-fire quad launcher or mole mortar.

While the Rapier Direct Fire Battery’s two platforms can mount a gravis heavy bolter battery, a gravis multi-laser array, or a laser destroyer.

And you can find rules for all of these new units in the new Horus Heresy: Battle of Tallarn Book.
All this, next week!
