Games Workshop is hyping the new Launch Box up for Warhammer 40,000 11th edition. And the big unboxing is coming this Friday!
I hope you’re ready for a new Launch Box because it’s coming to Warhammer 40,000. I know we basically get new boxes packed with miniature from Games Workshop every weekend (it seems like). But this one is going to be special. It’s launching the new edition! Orks and Space Marines are about to throwdown in blood bath once more on Armageddon.
The actual unboxing will be in color.
On Friday, we’re going to be looking inside the absolutely packed Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon boxed set. You don’t want to miss this!
Armageddon Unboxing May 1st
Set your alarms, mark your calendars, and phone a friend. Do whatever you need to do to make sure you’re there when it goes live. The show will be available to watch on both YouTube and the Warhammer Twitch Channel. And if I’m perfectly honest, I’ll probably be watching this one from the YouTube channel again. The Twitch Emoticons that fill the screen are pretty annoying. Especially when you really just want to get a good look at what’s being shown on the screen. But that’s more a Twitch problem* than the Warhammer Team’s problem.
*So there is a way to turn off those emoticons and celebrations when watching on Twitch.
Turn them off and be free!
You have to go to the CHAT options (the cog on the lower right from the Chat panel) to find the Chat Settings. I could never find them because I’d click on the STREAM options (which is different). If you’re like me and really don’t watch Twitch for the Celebration Emotes, you can turn them off, too.
Anyhow, we already got a few previews of what to expect from the box. Keep in mind these are the fully assembled and painted versions. I’m excited to see what the sprues look like because I want to know how much customization we’re getting with this box.
While I don’t think these are all push fit, it would be kind of crazy if they were. I guess we’ll have to wait until May 1st to find out for sure! I’ll see y’all when it goes live. Be sure to check on the time zone so you don’t miss it!
