Cephalofair Games has announced that Julie Ahern has joined its executive team as the company’s Chief Operating Officer while former COO Price Johnson steps into the CEO role.
Julie Ahern brings fifteen years of tabletop publishing experience to her new position, including a period as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President at Greenbrier Games and Senior Director of Operations at Van Ryder Games. Cephalofair owner Isaac Childres lauded her accomplishments, saying, “Julie is my absolute favorite person in the board game industry (sorry Price!), and I could not be happier to welcome her to the team.”
Ahern is taking over the COO role from Price Johnson, who will now serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Johnson has been part of Cephalofair for nine years, managing business development and strategic initiatives. Johnson’s assumption of the CEO position will allow Childres to focus on product design and development.
