Free League Publishing announced Legends of Stormbringer RPG, a new TTRPG based on Michael Moorcock’s fantasy works, which will release in 2027.
Following Goodman Game’s The Classic Era of Elric line announcement (see “Licenses Michael Moorcock’s Elric of Melnibone“), Free League revealed that they have also licensed Moorcock’s fantasy setting for a Legends of Stormbringer RPG book. This TTRPG will run on mechanics based on Dragonbane RPG’s system, and will be written by Richard Watts, who worked on previous Stormbringer RPGs.
“This has been in the works for several months and we’re thrilled to finally share the news,” said Tomas Harenstam, CEO of Free League Publishing. “We are honored to bring Elric and the Young Kingdoms to the tabletop once more.”
More details on crowdfunding dates and members of the creative team will be added at later date.
