Wizards of the Coast Reveals More Deets 'Magic: The Gathering' 'Avatar The Last Airbender' Superdrop

Wizards of the Coast revealed more details on the Secret Lair: Avatar The Last Airbender Superdrop, a wave of new drop sets for Magic: The Gathering, which will hit DTC preorder on November 17, 2025. 

This Superdrop was first teased in late October (see ” ‘Secret Lair: Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Superdrop“). Since then, WotC has released the rest of the details on what is actually in the sets. The Superdrop consists of five sets, each of which have a few desirable reprints for Commander players. The most interesting of the reprints are the Ponder, Preordain, Expressive Iteration, Lightning Bolt and Silence cards with Avatar: The Last Airbender artwork on them. These cards aren’t particularly valuable cards as in-universe cards, but they are staple cards in constructed formats and the Avatar artwork seems to inherently gel thematically with them. Avatar fans will likely be seeking playsets of these cards just because of the Avatar artwork.   

The wave includes the following drop sets:

• Secret Lair X Avatar: The Last Airbender – My Cabbages (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): This was the first drop set announced, and it revolves around the Cabbage Man. It includes a Chain of Vapor, a Meltdown, a Nature’s Claim, an Anguished Unmaking, and a Putrefy.
• Secret Lair X Avatar: The Last Airbender – Everything Changed (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): The set comes with a Torment of Hailfire, a Blood Moon, a Lightning Bolt, and a Dramatic Entrance.
• Secret Lair X Avatar: The Last Airbender – A Lot to Learn (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): This set contains a Serra Ascendant as “Aang, Ascendant Airbender”; a Ponder; a Cryptolith Rite as “Avatar Sanctuary” and  Kodama’s Reach as “Huu’s Reach.”
• Secret Lair X Avatar: The Last Airbender – One With the Elements (MSRP $29.99; Foil $39.99): The One With the Elements set is comes with a Silence, a Preordain, a Painful Truths, a Past in Flames, a Force of Vigor, and an Expressive Iteration.
• Secret Lair X Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Ember Island Players (MSRP $29.99; Rainbow Foil $39.99): These cards are themed after an iconic episode of Avatar where Aang and his friends watch a play about themselves as a recap episode. The drop set features a Phantasmal Image as “Absolutely Accurate Actor”; a Braid of Fire; a Cursed Mirror; a Mask of Memory and a Thespian’s Stage.
