Riff Tamson is ready to take to the tabletop and it’s totally JAWSOME! It’s time for The Terror From Below Squad Pack unboxing!
Star Wars has a lot of unique characters. Some of those are pretty over the top. But that’s okay — it’s part of the charm! That’s why I was excited to see that Atomic Mass Games has sent me a copy of the new Star Wars: Shatterpoint Squad Pack Terror From Below. I got to pop this box for the review so let’s see what was inside.
This box features a pretty colorful cast of characters and also some of the largest miniatures you can field in Shatterpoint.

Kicking things off we’ve got the contents! In total, you get the flyer with the credits and a QR code to the assembly guide and a pair of baggies. One bag contains all the cards and the other has the sprues. This has become pretty expected for most of the AMG product line and I’m okay with that.
As far as the cards, you get a full playset for each supported language. Now, we actually covered these cards already. If you’d like to get a better look at those cards as well as a deeper dive into how this squad works, check that article out.
Personally, I really like the art and I really want to get Nossor Ri and Riff Tamson on the tabletop. I’m curious to see if I can make them work. But first we need to check out the sprues.
In terms of sprues, you get 4 in total. There’s the two sprues for the miniatures and then two more for the bases. I do think it was interesting to see how AMG split up this unit for production. Also, those Aqua Droid bases are larger than the regular ones. They are 50mm vs the standard 40mm. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to assemble them yet as I’ve been working on a few other projects. But you can rest assured I WILL be getting this squad built up for Shatterpoint in the near future!

Star Wars: Shatterpoint – Terror From Below Squad Pack $54.99
Riff Tamson brings the planet of Mon Cala into the Clone Wars. Conspiring with Quarren chieftain, Nossor Ri, these devious diplomats in service to the Separatist Alliance manipulate events and thrust their unwitting foes into the fray.
Riff Tamson uses speed to surprise and cripple his foes while Nossor Ri grants additional bonuses when allies use elevation and terrain to their advantage. Rounding out the squad are Aqua Droids, which are highly durable fighters that excel at frontal assault.
Time to add some John Williams to the music queue. We need the Star Wars/Jaws melody ASAP!
