Steamforged Games announced Forest of the Damned and Glade of the Evil Oak, two new Epic Encounters sets, that are now up for preorder.
In the Forest of the Damned encounter, players are off on a seemingly harmless walk in the woods when they suddenly get ambushed by evil, animated foliage. The set offers players an adventure that is completely compatible with D&D 5E, that comes with an encounter booklet, a double-sided map to play on, and 17 highly-detailed enemy miniatures. It will retail for $54.99, and can be played as a standalone or paired with the Glade of the Evil Oak for a more extensive encounter.
The Glade of Evil Oak set is essentially a boss monster encounter that as serve as the climax for Forest of the Damned encounter. In this encounter, players take on a giant, corrupted treefolk that is looking to reap the souls of adventurers. The box comes with a huge Evil Oak miniature that sits on a 100 mm base, an encounter booklet, a double-sided encounter map, and 24 tokens. It will retail for $54.99 as well.
Steamforged Games also recently released Sanctuary of the Steelborn and The Titan’s Vigil, (see “‘Epic Encounters’ Sets Head to Preorder“).
