Total War: Warhammer III Tides of Torment – Coming December 4th!

Come take a look at the new DLC and the legendary lords. With a new release date just under a month away, it won’t be that long before you’re starting a new campaign with one of the new characters. You might take up arms as Aislinn, the Sea Lord, Dechala, the Denied One, or Sayl, the Faithless.

What do they each do? Let’s take a quick look, starting with Aislinn.

Aislinn is a ruthless but brilliant commander who oversees the navy of Ulthuan. He’s about as good a sea elf as it gets. But he’s got a dark side to him. And that’s not just because he will make coastal raids with brutality and an almost Dark Elf-like zeal for inflicting cruelty.

Aislinn commands one of the mighty Dragonships of Ulthuan, and is tasked with scouring distant shores in the name of the Elven Lords. As he does so, they grant him relics, elite followers, and boons. Helping him out is a new Legendary Hero, Caradryan, as well as units like the Mist Mage, Sea Elemental, and Merwyrm.

Dechala, the Denied One, on the other hand is a serpentine horror of Slaanesh. She is all about conquest and excess and making Thrall camps that she drains dry and discards to fuel her ambitions of conquest in the Dark Prince’s name.

Descending into decadence along with their Denied One, are a host of Slaaneshi horrors. Starting with the new Chaos Sorcerer Lord of Slaanesh, Styrkaar of the Sortsvinaer, Pleasureseekers, Slaangors, and more.

And last, but certainly not least, Sayl the Faithless proves that wihle Chaos’ gifts are always a curse, sometimes they’re much more explicit about it. Sayl is a mutated Chaos Sorceror who excels at treachery and betrayal and dark magic. His is a quest for arcane ascension, buoyed aloft by Chaos Altars that will let him conduct a grand ritual of magnificent proportions.

Helping him rise to glory (or mutation) are a mix of all sorts of malcontents. You’ll find the Great Shaman Sorcerer, Beorg Bearstruck, several Marauder Bearmen, Kurgan Horsemen, even a fearsome Dreadmaw.

Alongside these new Legendary Lords are several other updates, including the addition of Total War: Warhammer’s 104th Legendary Lords, the Masque of Slaanesh who will be released as FreeLC. So even if you’re not picking up the expansion, you’re still getting something out of the release!
